STRUNG Account & Data Deletion Request

This page explains how to request deletion of your STRUNG account and the data associated with it.

How to request deletion (email only)

To request deletion of your STRUNG account:

  1. Email support@strungapp.com with the subject:
    STRUNG — Account Deletion Request

  2. In the email, include:

    • The email address you use to sign in to STRUNG

    • Your full name (as shown in the app)

    • If applicable: your business / venue name linked to the account

  3. We will verify ownership of the account (typically by requiring the request to come from the account email address, or by asking for a confirmation reply).

Once verified, we will process the deletion request.

What data will be deleted

When your STRUNG account is deleted, we delete the data stored in STRUNG that is associated with your account in our Firebase systems, including (where applicable):

  • Your user profile (account details stored in STRUNG)

  • Customers/players you created (names, contact details, notes)

  • Jobs and job history (job details, notes, statuses, payment status)

  • Rackets and set-up information (models/specs, stringing preferences, notes)

  • Venues/locations you created

  • Strings inventory data (stock levels and consumption history)

  • QR-related references used to identify jobs/rackets within STRUNG

Data that may be retained

We may retain limited information only where necessary for security, legal compliance, or operational integrity:

  • Security and audit logs (minimal logs used to help prevent fraud/abuse and maintain service security)

  • Support communications (if you previously contacted us, we may retain those messages to resolve disputes or support issues)

  • Backups: Deleted data may remain in encrypted system backups for a limited period before being overwritten

We do not sell your personal data.

Retention period

  • We aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days.

  • Data may remain in backups for up to 90 days after deletion before being permanently removed through normal backup rotation.

  • If we must retain certain records for legal or security reasons, we will retain only what is necessary and only for as long as required.

What you can expect after deletion

  • You will no longer be able to sign in to STRUNG with the deleted account.

  • Your STRUNG data associated with that account will no longer be accessible in the app once deletion is completed.
